Where are you located?
Total Impact Guns & Range is located at 616 N Tamiami Trl, Nokomis, FL 34275.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
Do you buy firearms?
Yes. We accept trades, purchase firearms outright, and offer consignment options. All firearms must be appraised by a qualified store associate before we can make an offer.
How do I transport my firearm to your store?
All firearms brought into the store must be unloaded and in a case. Open carry is not permitted inside our facility.
Do you accept transfers?
Yes. We accept transfers from storefront FFL dealers only.
How much is a transfer?
Standard transfers are $35 for members and $50 for non-members, per serialized item. NFA transfers are $120 for members and $150 for non-members.
How much is a background check fee?
Background checks are $5 per 4473 form.
Do you offer storage for firearms?
No, we do not offer long-term firearm storage. Please review our Firearm Pickup Fees and Abandonment Policy for details on holding periods and associated fees.
How long will Total Impact hold my firearm?
Storage fees apply after 30 days. Please review our Firearm Pickup Fees and Abandonment Policy for complete details.
Can I complete 4473 paperwork before my firearm arrives at the store?
No. Federal law requires the firearm to be physically present at the time of transfer. The 4473 form must be completed in person by the actual transferee with the firearm on-site.
Questions About Our Range
When is last call for the range?
Last call for range entry is one hour prior to closing.
How much does it cost to rent a lane?
A single shooter lane is $20 for the day. Two shooters sharing the same lane is $30 for the day. Visit our Indoor Range page for more details.
Are firearm rentals available?
No, we do not currently offer firearm rentals.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes. We offer several membership options:
- 6-Month Range Membership: $199
- Annual Range Membership: $299
- LEO/Military Annual Membership: $199
- 6-Month Family Membership (up to 4 people): $259
- Annual Family Membership (up to 4 people): $359
- LEO/Military Family Annual Membership: $259

What is the minimum age to shoot?
Shooters must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by an adult sharing the same lane.
Is there a dress code for the range?
Yes. All shooters must wear clothing that covers the neck, legs, and feet. This helps protect against hot brass ejection and promotes a safe shooting environment.
Are there any firearms or ammunition not allowed on the range?
Shotguns are not permitted on our range. Hollow point ammunition is also prohibited due to its potential to cause excessive damage to our backstop and target retrieval systems.
Is holster draw allowed?
No. Holster draw is not permitted on our range.

How do I book a class?
You can book a class online through our website, in-store, or by calling us directly.
Can I get a refund on a class?
No refunds are available for classes. If you need to reschedule, you must do so more than 24 hours in advance.
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes. We offer private instruction tailored to your skill level and goals. Stop by the store or give us a call to inquire about availability and pricing.
