Firearm Pickup Fees and
Abandonment Policy
Effective February 1, 2026, Total Impact Guns is implementing a new policy for the timely
pickup of serialized items (firearms & suppressors). This policy is necessary to manage our
inventory storage space efficiently and ensure regulatory compliance.
30-Day Grace Period (Standard Transfer/Repair Pickup Window)
The pickup period for transfers or repairs officially begins on the day the customer is contacted
by Total Impact Guns (via in person, phone, text, or email) confirming the firearm has been
received/repaired and is ready for pickup.
All customers have a 30-day grace period to pick up their serialized items from this notification
date.
Late Pickup Fee Structure
If a firearm is not picked up within the initial 30-day grace period:
- Starting on the 31st day: Total Impact Guns will impose a late pickup fee of $5.00 per
serialized item, per day.
This fee is accrued daily until the item is retrieved and all outstanding fees are paid.
Storage Fees for Purchased Items (Not Picked Up)
This section pertains only to serialized items (firearms & suppressors) that have been
purchased (in-store or special order) directly from Total Impact Guns but have not
been picked up. We do not accept customer-owned items to be brought in for storage.
A fee per item, per month will be assessed beginning the 31st day after purchase or
notification of received special order items.
- Pistols, Receivers, and Suppressors: A storage fee of $35.00 per item, per month.
- Long Guns (Rifles/Shotguns/Machine Guns): A storage fee of $50.00 per item, per
month.
90-Day Abandonment Policy
Regardless of the category (transfer/repair or purchased item), there is a 90-day limit for
retrieval:
- If a serialized item remains unclaimed and 90 days have passed from the initial
notification date:
- The serialized item is considered abandoned property and will immediately become the
sole property of Total Impact Guns to dispose of or retain as we see fit, without further
notice to the customer. This 90-day limit is the maximum period during which storage
fees will accrue.
We strongly encourage all customers to retrieve their items promptly within the 30-day window
to avoid these charges and the potential loss of their property.
Important Information for Current Orders
If you currently have a firearm at the shop awaiting pickup:
- Your 30-day grace period officially begins on February 1, 2026.
- No fees will be charged or accumulated prior to this date.
- To avoid any storage charges, please ensure your item is picked up on or before March
2, 2026 (the 30th day).
- Storage fees will begin accumulating for all uncollected items starting March 3, 2026.
